Welcome to the mothership
Even though we have clients (and staff) around the country, there is no doubt that Christchurch is the place the majority of our team calls home. Thanks in part to the shakey ground we live on top of, we have shifted home a number of times, most recently to our current location under the same roof as our sibling company, hairyLemon in Victoria Street.
In the circular way that life tends to operate, moving back to Victoria Street was a coming home experience for the I.T. team as we kicked off the business just a few doors down at 123 Victoria Street – when we were still under the umbrella of hairyLemon as “LemonAid”. Not long before the September 2010 quake struck (and lead to the demolition of several buildings in the street) we had already started conversations about spinning off LemonAid into a separate business.
That process took a giant leap forward when the quakes struck and our clients – and the Lemon itself, had a rapid need for cloud based services. In between times we worked from Hornby, then moved into the first new building in the CBD post quakes, on the site of the old Westende Jewellers, followed by a relocation into another new build on the site of the former Stranges building in Lichfield Street.
Today you can find us on Level 1, 134 Victoria Street (or down the road at Hachi Hachi or Vic’s Cafe grabbing lunch.)
